Q : How can I quickly deflate my product?
R :
The main chambers are equipped with Boston valves which you can unscrew and release the air quickly. For the soft valves, you use the little plastic straws that are included with the boat. Stick them half way in, and then roll the boat to push out the air. Do not forget to take the straw out and make sure it does not fall inside the chamber.
Q : Should I store the product inflated or deflated?
R :
It is better to store the boat deflated. Keeping high pressure in a kayak over a longer period of time may damage the material.
Q : What is the best way to clean the kayak?
R :
Clear water or soapy water to remove stains. Just rinse it, let it dry and put it away. That simple!
Q : What is the best way to fold the kayak?
R :
This is very easy. Put the kayak on a flat surface, deflate completely (you may use a deflator), fold the sides into the middle, so the width is about 60cm, start then folding at the opposite end of the valves (so remaining air can escape from the valves) in 40 cm high sections. You should get it just right to put it away in the bag.
Q : How should I store the kayak over winter or over longer period of no use?
R :
The kayak must be perfectly dry before folding and storing it in the carry bag. Keep it in a dry place, away from any heat source and without any weight or pressure on it. Ideal temperature is between 10 and 20°C.
