Q : How can I inflate my kayak ?
R :

It is very important to always use a pump (manual or electric) that is specially made for inflatable products. Never use a compressor, since the pressure is too strong and would considerably damage the product. We have several pumps in our accessories list.

Q : How can I check the pressure?
R :

Depending on what product you own, you have several ways to check the right pressure. Our PVC kayaks (K79, K79HF, K109HF, KRC79, KBC79) have a control device called SevyTest. This is located on the side chamber of the kayak, and a black line will indicate proper inflation when it is between A and B marks.

Q : I inflated the kayak properly, but after a few hours in the sun, its pressure increased?
R :

With the heat of the sun, the air inside the tubes will expand. Either the chamber will get bigger or the pressure will increase. Aware of this, we avoid using black colour for example, this already reduces this risk. Nevertheless, you should avoid leaving the inflated product in the sun while not using it.
